
Joseph “Joe” D’Alonzo
President
Joseph serves as the President of Cow Bay Contracting, having worked as a laborer, foreman, field super and project manager over the past 30+ years in the business. Joe earned both his undergraduate and his law degrees from Fordham University. Some recent projects Joe has completed include renovations such as a slate roof, structural stiffening, and HVAC and lighting upgrade at the Church of the Holy Apostle in NYC, ensuring New York City Department of Buildings Compliance at multiple AutoZone locations, and construction of Claremont Prep School at 41 Broad Street from a 111,000 SF commercial space. In the Bronx, Joe worked with the OER and MTA performing underpinning at 3261 Westchester Ave., a ground up retail building with a basement. The construction of Shrub Oak International School in Mohegan Lake has been an exceptional experience in Joe’s long career. Shrub Oak is a 365,000 square foot Jesuit seminary that Cow Bay repurposed into a state of the art educational and residential facility for children and young adults on the autism spectrum.

Augustino “Augie” D’Alonzo Jr.
General Manager
Augie D’Alonzo Jr. has over 30 years of experience in the Construction and General Contracting field, running his first major job of building the Seaport Hotel while in his second year at Fordham Law. Augie is a specialist in ADA compliance, staying current with the regulations and their implementation. Over the years Augie has done work for Exxon Mobil, USPS, Nouveau Elevator, Mavis Discount Tires, 7-11 and McDonald’s. Augie is especially proud of the modular Ministry building recently completed at the Church of St. Anne in Garden City and the restoration of the Van Wyck Tidal Dam; he enjoys making the world a better place. Augie is a licensed attorney in New York and Pennsylvania as well as a Notary Public, and he is certified in Procore Owner/Superintendent and holds a New York City Construction Super’s License.

Dominick “Dom” D’Alonzo
Project Manager/Quality Control
Dominick has been working at Cow Bay since high school, earning him over 40 years of experience in all aspects of the construction trade. Dom continued at Cow Bay as he earned his undergraduate degree at Fordham University and a Construction Management Diploma from New York University. Over the years Dom has worked on a wide range of projects, including the Jackson Heights Fire Restoration, Northwell Health Bellmore, Shrub Oak International School, Parks and Recreation Capital projects. Dom also oversaw the emergency construction of COVID clinics and infusion centers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dom is especially proud of the United States Tennis Association plaza renovation that he oversaw at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center at Flushing Meadows Park in Corona. The original 90 day timeframe was condensed down to 30 days, with the pressure of the U.S. Open in August as a highly motivating factor. The project was completed on time, meeting all project requirements, thanks to Dom’s ability to implement strategic coordination and streamlined construction techniques. Dom is a Certified Concrete Contractor and a ProCore Certified Administrator.

Colin Rowen
Vice President, Construction Services
Colin is a native New Yorker, having grown up on the Upper West Side and graduating from New York University with a degree in business. He started his career as a commercial real estate broker, putting together real estate investments in the Bronx and lower Westchester. Colin moved on to become a managing partner with Besen Partners, focusing on sales and housing stock. In 2014, Colin became the general manager at White Construction Services, working with FEMA to rebuild homes destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. With CowBay since 2019, Colin has been focused on streamlining the estimating, pricing, and construction services in addition to selling numerous projects. Major projects Colin has worked on include the Scarsdale Synagogue Temples Tremont and Emanuel, the City of Yonkers, medical office build-outs, build-outs for nonprofits, and white boxes.

Alluvada Jithendra
Senior Project Manager
Alluvada has been at Cow Bay for 14 years, after working as a project field supervisor at Larsen & Toubro and a project control engineer at Hensel & Phelps. Alluvada earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from the University of Texas at Austin. During his time at Cow Bay, Alluvada has successfully managed numerous ground-up construction projects, some involving over 5o subcontractors. Alluvada’s understanding of the complete project lifecycle, from reviewing and negotiating contract documents to overseeing project management through signoff and turnover allow him to manage multiple projects at a time. In the case of design-build projects, Alluvada has served as an owner representative collaborating closely with the design to develop a project scope that aligns with budgetary and timeline considerations. Projects Alluvada has worked on include the Columbia Satow Stadium, Nouveau Elevator headquarters, New Life Holdings Projects, Liptis Pharma, SNAP, and the NYCEDC MTA , AutoZone & Sherwin Williams projects. Alluvada is OSHA and Procore certified.

Daniela Silva
Project Manager
Daniela has been at Cow Bay for 24 years, working while earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Grove School of Engineering at City College of New York. Daniela’s experience includes both commercial and residential demolition, renovation, and ground up building as well as tenant fit out and ADA work at Burger King and Wendy’s. School renovations and additions at Shrub Oak International School and Les Enfants Montessori School broadened Daniela’s scope of experience. As a full service project manager, Daniela’s strength lies in her professionalism, excellent communication skills, and ability to shepherd a project from estimating through sign off. Daniela is OSHA and Procore certified.

Miguel Corado
Project Manager
After completing two years of a Computer Science degree in his native Guatemala, Miguel moved to the United States in 2004 and began working for Cow Bay Contracting. He went on to complete an Associate’s Degree in Construction Project Management. Projects that Miguel has managed include: AutoZone, Capitol Petroleum’s gas station sidewalk replacement program for Mobil and Shell, Citibank interior and exterior renovations, a 5 story apartment building at 137 Carlton Ave. in Brooklyn, and the USPS Truck Restraint Program. Miguel honed his organizational working on the Mavis reimaging project as this project involved the coordination of multiple sites at a time. Miguel also credits the Mavis experience with helping him to improve his communication skills in both speaking and writing English; the experience of traveling to different sites and meeting so many people forced him to work hard to always communicate in a professional and timely manner while staying on schedule. Miguel is OSHA certified, a certified Site Safety Supervisor, and in the process of obtaining his Construction Superintendent’s License.

Vito Losito
Job Supervisor
Vito has been an integral part of the Cow Bay Contracting team for the past 38 years, and he has a uniquely wide range of experience. Early in his career Vito worked at the Hollywood Video and Wendy’s chains, earning his reputation for thoroughness and excellent customer service. Nouveau Elevator in Long Island City was a long term project for Vito, and more recent work includes Northwell Health and Sugar Waxing Studios. Vito particularly enjoyed the challenge of working on the modular building at St. Anne’s in Garden City, and Vito worked collaboratively with Fr. Tom Harold and Gene Fennell to bring the project to fruition. Vito is a NYS Licensed Superintendent, OSHA Certified and Procore Certified.

Michael Carroll
Field Superintendent
Mike has been at Cow Bay for over 30 years, after a stint in the United States Marine Corps. and some time in the pest management field. Mike has served as the Field Superintendent on such projects as the Kay Honda Dealership in Eatontown, NJ, various United States Postal Service Projects, three Commerce Banks in Brooklyn, nad the MTA Storage Building, also in Brooklyn. Mike is particularly proud of the work he did at Judge Street and Prospect Park, two ground up apartment buildings that required careful coordination of construction services while adhering to New York City building codes. Mike is a Licensed New York City Department of Buildings Superintendent.

Peter Stam
Field Supervisor
Peter comes to Cow Bay by way of Holland, moving to the United States in 2000. His career background includes work as a graphic designer and creative artist, as well as twelve years as a self-employed home improvement contractor. In his year of employment at Cow Bay Peter has been very busy, working on projects for Professional Physical Therapy and the United States Postal Service at Trenton. His greatest undertaking was overseeing, from start to finish, the construction of a Crumbl cookie storefront in Port Washington, NY. Peter holds a Commercial Driver’s License and is a certified Site Safety Training Supervisor.

Al Fusco
DOB Construction Superintendent
Al brings over 40 years of construction industry experience to Cow Bay, and his vast range of expertise has been invaluable as the scope of work for Cow Bay expands. Al first encountered Cow Bay 20 years ago when he worked for the New York State Department of Environmental Protection and Cow Bay was tasked with reservoir work in upstate New York. Al came to work at Cow Bay six years ago when construction started on the Shrub Oak International School, and after Shrub Oak he oversaw construction of the six story condominium building at 137 Carlton Avenue in Brooklyn. He is currently working out of the Yonkers office, completing jobs for the Greyston Foundation, the GSA/SSA, 2999 3rd Avenue, and the City of Yonkers. Al holds a New York City Department of Buildings Superintendent License, is a Site Safety Training Supervisor, and is OSHA certified.

Francesco DelGreco
Project Coordinator/Assistant Field Superintendent
Francesco started his career at Cow Bay in 2022, after graduating from Farmingdale State College with a degree in Construction Management Engineering Technology. Francesco’s first job at Cow Bay was working at the Church of the Holy Apostles, learning the ropes of working on a landmark building in New York City. Francesco then moved on to the Morton Village Plaza in Plainview, work for UPS, and finally the GSA/SSA in Yonkers. Francesco is certified as a NYC Department of Buildings Site Safety Training Supervisor.

Jonathan Kology
Project Manager
Jonathan came to Cow Bay in 2022, after a 10 year career in pre-construction, administrative, project management, and field service experience at Power Home Remodeling. Jonathan works out of the Yonkers office, and he jumped into the 2999 3rd Ave project to help shepherd it to completion by assisting with submittals, job orders, and RFI’s. Next came the GSA/SSA project in Yonkers, and Jonathon oversaw this project from beginning to end: securing pricing, reviewing proposals, generating purchase orders and coordinating the countless number of submittals, transmittals and RFI’s. Certifications that Jonathan holds are: AAMA, GAF Master Elite, VSI, OSHA, and Procore.
